Brooklyn-based Beetle & Flor is the studio behind a collection of North American wildlife skulls skilfully crafted out of raw porcelain. Among the skulls and jaws are those of raccoons, skunks, beavers and turtles, as well as muskrats and deer, inspired by science illustration at New York's Museum of Natural History. Teeth are either covered in transparent glaze or gold lustre. Proceeds from the sale of these skulls go towards design assistance and production help to crafting communities around the world.
