Well the fitbit has to types. One is $60 and the other is $100. The more $ version has levels climb and sleep time tracking. They both are compatible through Bluetooth/wireless connections. There are free sleep time apps for smartphones that are better than the fitbit. The fuel has three active sensors inside calibrating steps, speed, and energy. It's a sleeker design and very user friendly. I wear the fuel all day and keep up with my whole rountine. At night you plug it into a USB drive and charge it and put it back on in the morning. Both are great it's really reference and intended want and purpose.
