I must admit, I thought a few of those were true. Searing your steak, for example. Apparently it won't lock in juices as advertised.
Me too. My wife is convinced about flipping only once and I usually avoid turning them with a fork. Now we need to cook up a mess of steak and do it "right".

The most success I've had is at the grocery store. The cut makes the steak at the end of the day.
