One of the many myths that the Media and Hollywood like to play up is that if in a threatening situation and you have a firearm you most likely will not use it. As someone who has been in a situation like that, your instinct is actually to use it to defend yourself or those you are with.
I'm glad I'm seeing more of these kinds of stories in the media. Whether it's spun one way or another, to see someone who's intent in using a gun is harm getting "put down" by someone else who is exercising their rights to defend themselves, warms the cockles of my 2nd Amendment soul!

That's how you do it. Someone does this to one of my family, there will be no command of "Drop it!", just the sound of me dropping them.
