i would consider this gun as an option for ccw.
I'll be fascinated to see this in person. I assume it will feature the same innards as their excellent PT738. The only YouTube Curve video I could find with actual shooting looked very promising, as well as a report I read from a writer who fired a test model. That I'm even considering Taurus is a little sad but their reviews are so good, regardless of price, and it looks like the Kahr CW380 has about a 50/50 chance of either being an outstanding performer or a total fail. Others seem to be somewhere in-between.
My unsolicited $0.02: 1. I had a Taurus 24/7 and it never had any issues at all. It was very reliable. 2. If the three people I know how own a Taurus (non-revolver) there are no complaints...but only one uses it as a ccw. 3. Considering the amazing return policy and general customer service policy Taurus has, I don't think it's a bad option at all.
Check this out, especially the video a little way down. Makes that snappy little .380 look awfully tame.http://www.personaldefenseworld.com/2014/12/concealed-carry-redefined-taurus-curve/#taurus-curve-180crv-1
I totally agree, it looks like fun too! I was mostly referencing your statement that you were sad to consider it...I have my brand loyalties (not being a total brand whore though) but I wouldn't feel bad at all about this. I appreciate the video though, that was worthwhile
I think Taurus's past reliability issues still taints their reputation to this day. As of late, the company is producing quality firearms. Unlike...say... Remington, which is trending in the other direction,
