Decent article. A few things missing. Honey is awesome as a food source, supplement, etc. We have bees at our home

I would suggest that you go to a local store, Whole Foods, etc and buy local honey to your area. It does not have to be raw. Raw has a different taste and depends on the food source that they feed from. The advantage of local honey is that you support local businesses and for allergies this really helps! My wife suffers from seasonal allergies and puts honey in her tea or drink and it really does help.

(BTW it is nice to see an article not from your own blog Randy)

I have one Warre Bee hive and love the bees. We will be able to collect the honey in the fall. I can't wait! Its fun just to sit outside their hive and watch them all work.

And beehives are a great place to hide during nighttime hide and seek. The bees aren't out at night, but most people don't know that and won't search near of my best hiding spots as a kid.
