Interesting, but I feel like I should have been more surprised about "female scientists" than I actually am. One quarter of the scientists I'm exposed to on a regular basis are female. There is Leonard, Raj, Sheldon and Amy.
What would be most interesting to me would be the role of their father in each of these ladies lives growing up. How were they influenced, was there an common thread there, encouragement or shared connections etc.. Not really the point of the article I know, but it got me wondering...
