Methinks FB and their ilk are playing with stuff they really know nothing about.
It's interesting that only a few days ago I read that Zuckerberg was disparaging Elon Musk over Musk's comments on the possible dangers of runaway AI.
Yes. I too though of that and am wondering if this is will be enough to bring some humility, but I am not hopeful.
I don't think so. AI is now THE Holy Grail of science. Next it will be phasers. Maybe Terminator was prophetic after all? Run for the hills!!!
Musk hit it on the head when he said Zuckerberg didn't know what he was doing. As for Musk, he's most likely the one who will have a functioning AI before anyone else. What scares me the most is no one, NO ONE, talks about Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics. That HAS to apply to AI or we're going to be looking for Neo...
Asimov was the shit! I wish he was still with us. I get what you're saying, I just wish you didn't make so much sense. AI is scary to me, but I also don't know very much about it aside from the Matrix and Terminator documentaries.
