In reality 6-7 months is the standard lead time for SBR and Suppressor approval right now.
With fees and the cost of the can, that's $800-1000 to make your gun make less noise. Ear plugs are under $1. Your choice.
It's not illegal in most states.

Also, there are MANY benefits to suppressors other than reduction of decibels at the shooters ear.
1. Reduction of noise level to others. This is especially beneficial when teaching young children or other 1st timers to shoot. It's also beneficial in areas where shooting is legal, but the noise might annoy others.2. Recoil reduction.3. Flash reduction.As a shooter with a suppressor, it allows me to fire and maintain my hearing, both long term and short term (helping maintain situational awareness).
